Alpha Intensive Serum has 14% Glycolic AHA to improve the appearance of your skin. It supports collagen production and evens skin tone for healthier skin. I was impressed by the strength of the product and the results I got, so I decided to do a review to share my findings.

About Alpha Intensive Serum

Alpha’s anti-aging serum is formulated with 14% Glycolic Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and a pH level of 3.7 It is free of parabens and fragrances, so it can be used by all skin types.

Glycolic AHA works naturally to gently lift away dead skin cells so new healthy skin can emerge. It also encourages the production of collagen to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Benefits

The intensive serum gives real results for those pesky wrinkles.  We all can use that.  The top benefits include:

Reduces the appearance of lines & wrinkles.

Helps to support collagen production.

Evens skin tone & texture.

Leaves skin feeling soft & smooth.

The serum is a thinner more watery consistency and a little goes a long way.  This is pretty strong so you may want to use it at night to see how your skin reacts. Once you use the serum, your skin will feel smooth and fresh. Over time, you should see a more radiant, even skin tone.

Ingredients

I like that the ingredients are simple and that it is paraben and fragrance free. Ingredients include:

Water, Glycolic Acid, Ammonium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Matricaria Extract, Green Tea Extract, Aloe Baradensis Juice, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Cellulose Gum, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate

You can use the product day and night, but it is important to use sunscreen during the day as your skin may be more sensitive.  I just wash my face, apply the product, then use a moisturizer and sunscreen.

Final thoughts

I am impressed with Alpha intensive serum.  I saw results right away and that is rare for me.  My skin is used to Retin-a and other intense treatments, so I was surprised when this product worked so well.  The only warning is that this is a strong product and not for everyone.  If you have sensitive skin, I would be very careful with it.  Do a patch test and only use a small amount until you see how your skin handles it.

Overall, this is a win for me.  I am now looking at other products in the Alpha skincare line to see if they are as effective as the serum.  My problem area is under the eyes, so I am looking at their nourishing eye cream too.  I will definitely continue using the intensive serum product and would recommend it.

The best wrinkle is the one you never get.
