The beach has such a calming effect on us. There is something about the positive beach vibes that helps us forget about our problems and live in the moment. I wish we could bottle that relaxed feeling and carry it with us everywhere we go. Wouldn’t it be amazing to feel so relaxed and in touch with nature every day?
Positive beach vibes
Our lives can get so stressful and cause us to lose touch with things that are special to us. It is important for us to stay positive for our health, relationships and overall well-being. Sometimes that is easier said than done.
One thing that always keeps me positive is spending time with nature and especially time at the beach. I am from Florida so I miss being able to go to the beach anytime I want. My relatives are in Florida near the beach, so I do get a chance to visit them and get some quality beach time. I just love the lapping of the water and the cries of the birds. You feel so warm and cozy with the sun on your skin and the calming sounds. That is a wonderful feeling. For a brief moment, I feel like I am truly in tune with nature.
Exploring the beach
I was in Jupiter, Florida on my last trip and there are a few beaches nearby that I got to visit. I love the white sand between my toes and walking along the water collecting shells. The sun reflecting on all the different color shells makes for quite a display. I usually look for the brighter purple and orange shells, but they are all pretty. I like to bring them home to GA and use them around my inside plants in the pots. The shells dress them up and remind me of the beach vibes when I see them.
It was pretty calm on my visit so we could walk out away from the shore. I enjoy seeing the boats go by and everyone relaxing on the beach. I also love the little birds on their constant quest for food. They walk in when the water recedes and run away when it comes back in. They never seem to tire of this. I watched one bird for a while as he was determined to find a special treat while avoiding the water. I named him Frank and told him he was doing a good job. He didn’t seem too concerned about my opinion, but that’s what life on the beach is all about. Relax and go with the flow.
Life’s a beach
I was sad when my time in Florida came to an end. It meant I would have to leave my family and all the little ones to get back to my busy life. It seems like vacation time flies by.
As I was taking one last look at the beach, listening to the calming sounds of the ocean, I was reminded that this is what life is supposed to be about. Being in touch with nature, slowing down, appreciating people and our surroundings is really the way to gain happiness. It is when we get so caught up in work, deadlines, arguments, and stress that we become unhappy and lose our path. When that starts happening to us, we can all take a moment to meditate and picture a beautiful sunny beach with water lapping and birds singing. It’s not the same as being there, but it can help us get focused and positive.
I hope you get the chance to visit the beach soon. It is truly therapeutic to be with nature and humbling to realize how small we are in the grand scheme of things. Keep positive and find happiness in each day to help you maintain the calming beach vibes that we love.
