The Walmart Black Friday ad was released on November 9th to give shoppers two weeks to prepare. This year there will be good deals on brand-name TVs, phones, and various Google devices. There will also be an emphasis on toy sales which is great for the kids. Walmart is having some pre-Black Friday sales now, so it may be worthwhile to go online and see what they have available.
Walmart Black Friday Key Information
The best deals are on Black Friday, so make sure you go online starting at 12:01 am ET on November 23rd. In stores, the sales start at 6 pm. This means Walmart is open all day on Thanksgiving with in-store sales starting at 6 pm that day.
One thing to note is that there will be no guarantees on door-busters this year. The stores are supposed to have more inventory so there will be no need for the wristbands. There will also be Holiday Helpers this year to assist customers. The departments will be color-coded and maps of the store will be made available to make shopping easier. Having said that, remember this is Walmart and there will be large crowds.
Here is the critical information you need to help you plan your shopping trip.
The ad was released November 9th and can be found online now. This gives you two weeks to plan.
All items are available while supplies last and remember there are no guarantees on door-busters this year.
There are deals going on now, but the Black Friday deals are usually the best prices. Walmart will be open all day on Thanksgiving if you want to venture out. Sales start times:
Online – At 12:01 am ET on Thanksgiving day you can start shopping online. In previous years the website got very slow and even though you had things in your cart, they were unavailable at checkout. This is true of many retailers, so keep that in mind when purchasing hot items. They will go fast.
In-Store – The store is open all day on Thanksgiving, with in-store sales starting at 6 pm. They stay open overnight into Black Friday. Remember there will be no guarantees on door-busters, but the stores are supposed to have more inventory on the best deals. Either way, get a map of the store (should be provided at the store) and go right to the things you want most.
Check out all the Walmart Black Friday deals and choose for yourself. The emphasis seems to be on brand-name TVs, Google devices, phones and toys so check those things out first.

Another thing to keep in mind is Walmart will allow you to order online and pick up at the store. Not all items have this option, but many do. This saves on shipping costs and you get your items quickly.
It is a good idea to get the weekly sales emails to see what specials are going on. Look for things like gaming console bundles and special deals on toys to come out in the sales emails. There will be plenty of chances to get great deals at Walmart.
